American Workforce Group has partnered with a local surgical firm who are looking for an experienced medical billing specialist to add to their team!

Description of Medical Billing

- Preparing, reviewing, and transmitting claims using billing EMR

- Checking each insurance payment for accuracy and compliance with contract discount

- Must be able to work independently or in a team setting

- Reviewing patient bills for accuracy, completeness, and obtaining any missing information

- Following up on unpaid claims within the standard billing cycle timeframe.

- Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, etc.

Details of Medical Billing

- $20 

- Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm

- Full time

- Temp (6 months - 1 year assignment) 

Requirements and Qualifications of Medical Billing

- 1 to 2 years experience in medical/insurance billing

- Great phone etiquette 

- Accounts receivable experience
