**Kitchen Designer**

Grand Banks Building Products, located in Gloucester, MA, is currently hiring a full-time experienced Kitchen Designer. We specialize in high-end building product sales including cabinetry, windows, doors, millwork, hardware and more. Grand Banks has been serving our local community and beyond for over 30 years and is a family owned, family run business who values their employees. Our clientele includes architects, designers, builders and homeowners alike. This Summer 2021, we will be expanding and opening a second showroom in Waltham, MA.

We are seeking a full-time Kitchen Designer with a minimum of two years experience in the field. The right candidate would serve clients on Cape Ann and surrounding our new Waltham Showroom. Related education is preferred, yet not required. This applicant should be organized and detail oriented with an outgoing personality. In this position, you will be collaborating with various customers and co-workers throughout the day. You should have an entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to be part of a growing team. We offer stock, semi-custom and custom cabinetry lines, providing design and storage solutions for multiple spaces in the home.

**What you will do daily:**

* Work with architects, interior designers, builders and homeowners from initial inquiry through completion of projects

* Take accurate field measurements independently and complete design with 2020 Design Software

* Generate quality design presentation materials including professional elevations, floor plans and perspective drawings

* Effectively manage 10 projects at various stages at any given time

* Communicate with clients and builders throughout the process, providing superior service always aiming to generate future referral business

* Act as support to Gloucester and Waltham staff and clientele

**Skills/Requirements:**

* Minimum of 2 years kitchen design experience

* Ability to read architectural plans/drawings

* 20/20 Design Software

* Excellent written and verbal skills

* Meticulous attention to detail

* Team player who works hard, is upbeat and has a positive can-do attitude
