Job Description
American Veterans Group is a Veteran founded Home Care company that has been serving our community and taking care of Senior Military Veterans and surviving spouses for over 18 years. We are seeking Caregivers to become a part of our team across Southern California!
Our caregivers are Care Professionals. They provide an invaluable service to aging adults. We encourage our Care Professionals to foster genuine relationships with the seniors in our community while providing compassionate care to help keep clients healthy, safe, and happy at home.
We have 2 elderly veterans that are in the same apartment complex that need care, each veteran will need 9-12 hours of caregiving services per week.
Care Professional Pay & Benefits:

• $17.50-18.50/hr - bi weekly pay & direct deposit
• $250 caregiver referral program*
• $500 new client referral program*

• Mileage reimbursement (in-visit travel and between same-day visits)
• Cell phone reimbursement

Responsibilities:

• Cooking, lite housekeeping, laundry and companionship are the primary jobs
• Grocery and shopping errands as needed
• Monitor and report changes in patient health status

Applicant Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 6 months of paid professional caregiving experience (non-family) OR be a CNA, HHA, LVN/LPN, HCA, or RN
• Have a valid driver's license
• Available for 15 hours per week during high-volume care hours (7 AM - 10 PM).
• Have basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities (Bilingual or multilingual individuals are encouraged to apply)
• Complete any compliance, license, or registration required by federal, state, or local regulations
• Must have a device that supports the most up to date version of iOS or Android
