Vending Machine Service and Repair Technician

AVS Companies, a leading distributor of micro market, vending, amusement, and gaming equipment in the Chicago Northwest suburban area, has an immediate opening for an entry-level or experienced vending service technician.

Primary duties will include: preparing machines for sale, machine fault diagnosis and repair, machine delivery and pickup.

Candidates should possess the following skills and attributes:

• Basic electrical and mechanical skills
• Sound understanding of fault diagnosis and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to multi-task
• Take direction from management, then act independently once directed
• Be detail oriented
• Be a team player with a “can-do” attitude
• Refrigeration knowledge preferred, but not required
• Ability to read schematics preferred, but not required

This opportunity is ideal for a veteran with electronics experience or training.
