Job Description
Retail Sales Associate
Duties :
- Customer service working with professional clientele (law enforcement, military, first responders)
- Assist customers in finding and selecting products
- Demonstrate product features and benefits through product demos
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Meet or exceed sales goals and targets
- Upsell additional products or services to customers
Skills :
- Experience with firearms ammunition and law enforcement equipment preferred
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities, particularly English and Spanish, are highly desired
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Proficient in using POS systems for processing sales transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer complaints effectively
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
