AMERICAN SYSTEMS is Hiring a Contractor Program Security Officer - TS clearance with SCI eligibility Near Washington, DC

Are you a highly capable Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) with demonstrated leadership skills and experience working within executive-level DoD multi-level security environments? We have an outstanding opportunity for you to join our team at the Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB) in Washington, DC!

As a CPSO, you will:

  • Take on a team leadership role for a highly important document inventory, control, and accountability project that.
  • Train team personnel on proper marking, transmission, control, storage, distribution, and destruction of classified material.
  • In-coordination with the government security team, conduct annual collateral, SCI and SAP self-inspections
  • Scan and upload documents onto approved Information Systems.
  • Receive a robust benefits package that includes Employee Stock Ownership Plan.

A week in a life of a CPSO will also include the following:

  • Conduct security inspections of facility containers, identify documents for retention and destruction.
  • Ensure documents are handled in-accordance with all applicable information security policy.
  • Ensure control and accountability of all classified material in the government security approved document control system.
  • Generate and update the Document Control Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Manual.
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute Security Standard Operating Procedures for the SAPF/SCIF.
  • Assist in preparation, review, coordination, execution of OPSEC and Transportation security plans as required.
  • Develop, coordinate, submit for approval, and implement entry/exit inspection procedures for the facility.
  • Execute and document completion of an annual physical inventory of Top-Secret material under the control of the facility's registry.
  • Perform the duties of a Top-Secret Control Officer (TSCO) or alternate, and the duties of a Communications Security (COMSEC) Material Custodian.
  • Act as a Data Transfer Agent and execute High-to-Low and Low-to-High Assured File Transfers (AFTs).
Job Requirements
  • Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility is a must.
  • 5 - 7 years of relevant security administration and/or CPSO experience with a bachelor’s degree OR 10 Years of relevant security administration and/or CPSO with an associate’s degree
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and management skills.
  • High Proficiency with MS Office applications, including SharePoint.

    AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary/hourly range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
