American Star Guard Services is looking for professional candidates with great attitude. You will have the opportunity to not only keep the gated community safe, but also to provide a sense of personal interaction to its members. As a security officer, you are given the opportunity to work in an environment filled with beauty and a sense of belonging. Full-Time and Part-Time positions available. The ideal candidate must possess strong customer service and public relations skills, as well as general computer knowledge and the ability to multi-task.

Must have PILB Guard Card or provisional to start immediately!!!!

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must possess a mature demeanor.

- Demonstrate strong customer service skills.

- Must be able to multi-task.

- General computer knowledge.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice, Business or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years full time related safety/security field.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a security supervisory experience.
  • Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification (preferred).
  • Knowledgeable, proficient, and accountable in general security industry standards and methods.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must posses advanced skills and professional experience in the areas of people and conflict management with tact and discretion
  • Investigations proficiency and experience in conducting investigations, interviewing and report writing
  • Must be flexible and posses the ability to function in stressful situations.
  • Excellent time-management, communication, technical writing, presentation development, facilitation, and organizational skills required
  • Must posses the strong ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbal)
  • A dependable team player with business maturity, enthusiasm and a positive attitude
  • Ability to adjusted to changing work environments including policy changes, client requests and scheduling.
  • Actively monitor staff interactions with client, guests, vendors, and employees to ensure a safe, secure, comfortable environment for all.
  • Administer appropriate performance reviews, counseling and disciplinary documentations as needed to ensure compliance of client policies.
  • Exhibit the ability to accept responsibility for the performance & conduct of the entire security team assigned to the deployment.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities, motivate staff & lead by example.

Must be able to pass our pre-employment screening process including an in-depth criminal background investigation and drug screening.

Be mature in demeanor, personality and attitude.

Maintain an impeccable image and adhere to our professional grooming standards.

Possess strong customer service and public relation skills, and be able to interact well with people of diverse cultures and backgrounds.

Must maintain a working telephone at all times in order for us to contact you.

Must have a valid PILB Card Card/Provisional.

After 6 months of work there will be a huge increase
