Job Overview:

American Precast Concrete, Inc. is the leader in designer concrete fencing and precast walls. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Foreman to join our team. As Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish. You will collaborate with the project coordinator, supervise construction activities, oversee site crews, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and manage construction projects, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety regulations

- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors

- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the project team

- Conduct site inspections as needed to ensure quality control and compliance with building codes

- Collaborate with the Project Coordinator, PM, and/or Superintendent to resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction

- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, change orders, and progress reports

- Manage project budgets, including estimating costs and tracking expenses

- Ensure site crew timesheet management/accuracy/efficiency

- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, or Bluebeam to track project milestones and communicate with the team

Qualifications:

- 3-5 years of experience as a commercial construction foreman or similar role

- Experience with heavy equipment such as excavator, forklift, and backhoe a plus

- Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, techniques, and materials

- Proven experience supervising construction crews

- Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills

- Ability to read blueprints and interpret construction drawings

- Proficient in budgeting and cost control measures

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure

- Knowledge of construction estimating methods and practices
