Residential Sales Specialist

What is expected from our Residential Sales Specialist?

Our Residential Sales Specialists are responsible for creating growth through attracting and retaining clients. Residential Sales Specialists create a positive client interface with the Company by providing accurate information and timely solutions for the pest problems our clients are experiencing. An effective Residential Sales Specialist will have up to date knowledge of best pest practices and treatments, be able to identify a wide variety of pests and be familiar with the problems they may cause, and be able to meet/exceed sales quotas. This position is critical to the continued growth of the company.

What does an average day look like for our Residential Sales Specialist?

An average day will see our Residential Sales Specialist contacting new and existing customers to discuss current pest problems, making cold calls for new clients, creating proposals for service, and offering our services to help protect the homes and livelihood of are clients.

Every day will find you doing at least some of the following:

  • Contacting existing customers in person and over the phone to set appointments, sell service upgrades, new products, renew a current contract and sell additional lines of business where applicable.
  • Serve as a problem solver for customers by utilizing your in-depth training and knowledge to decide the best overall pest solution for each customer’s need.
  • Conduct a thorough inspection of the interior and exterior areas of a potential customer’s property.
  • Manage your time and territory effectively and efficiently.

What do I need to Succeed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of experience in sales
  • Must be able to enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders to visually inspect for pests, pest harborage areas, pest entry points, etc.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Must possess excellent time management skills.
  • Must be available to work Monday-Friday, Saturdays if needed,
  • Must pass pre-employment background screen.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass motor vehicle record search.
