$117,644.80 - $258,793.60This role supports clinics in our West Region and candidates must reside in Pacific Time Zone. Job Description Summary:

Responsible for strategic oversight and operations of multiple practices/clinics in assigned region.

Senior Leader and liaison between physicians, practice leaders, and support services. Evaluate, assess, and implement initiatives and programs to ensure compliance and financial strength and viability of all practice operations. Lead the work responsible for physicians and practice growth. Ensure strong local leadership and physician relationships for best patient experience, and team member engagement.

Oversee physician concerns, patient complaints, and employee relations in a region, escalating as required and collaborating across AON for effective resolution. Leads the financial aspects of region or division holding all accountable for positive fiscally responsible outcomes.

Works in strategic collaboration with other key executive leadership on business development in region, including prospecting, physician recruitment and physician relations development.

Implements strategic initiatives that effectively and efficiently meet clinic, division/regional, organizational, and regulatory goals and objectives through strong financial and analytical capabilities, process improvement identification and implementation, and technology enhancements.

Leads and improves region understanding of key operational metrics, mentors and leads team in implementing plans to support clinics in achieving best practice performance for quality patient care, as well as physician and employee engagement.

Primary Key Performance Areas

Oversees region/division's physician relationships, network operations and clinical financial outcomes.

Oversees the strategic operations activities of multiple state, clinical practice sites in assigned division/region.

Direct and evaluate the performance of leaders of assigned region.

Proactively and collaboratively evaluate staffing levels across region and recommend adjustments as required.

Implement new approved policies, procedures, and special projects in clinic sites.

Responsible for all fiscal operations of assigned clinics by developing and maintaining all operational unit budgets with prudence. Taking proactive financial initiative.

Works in collaboration with Chief Development Officer regarding division development strategies including prospecting, physician recruitment and physician relations development.

Ensure teams comply will all Federal and State laws and regulations pertaining to patient care, patients' rights, safety, billing, and collections. Adhere to all Company and departmental policies and procedures. Maintain accessibility to employees so they may report any concerns and follows up on those concerns in a timely manner.

Maintain and ensure the confidentiality of all patient and employee information at all times.

Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Managerial Duties:

Incumbent has authority to initiate actions and make decisions within established precedents or well-defined policy with regular managerial direction and review. Oversee daily activities of department to maximize scheduling and real-time utilization of resources. Interface with management to ensure smooth flow of work through department. Participate in daily, weekly, monthly, and annual planning process as appropriate. Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position. Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness. Project a favorable image of the company to promote its aims and objectives and foster and enhance public recognition and acceptance of all of its areas of endeavor. Keep CEO and ESP promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action.

10. Expected to work at any Company location to help meet the Company's business needs including hosting and attending local company sanctioned events.

Position Qualifications/Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree is related field required. Master's degree preferred.

Certifications/Licenses:

  • Valid state Driver's License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings. Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required.

Previous Experience:

  • 10 years management experience in a multi-site oncology healthcare setting managing practice/clinic operations. Start-up and merger and acquisition experience preferred.

  • 10 years physician relations experience including physician compensation, business development/strategy, , provider recruitment and financial.

  • Significant contract negotiations experience.

  • 7 years strong financial analysis background.

  • Demonstrated understanding and working knowledge of physician contracts and applicable regulatory requirements at a local, state, and federal level related to practice management required.

  • EMR/Revenue Cycle experience required.

Ability to build an engaging culture of quality, performance effectiveness and operational excellence through best practices, strong business and political acumen, collaboration and partnerships, as well as a positive employee, physician and community relations.

  • Self-Management: Effectively manages own time, conflicting priorities, self, stress, and professional development. Self-motivated and self-starter with ability work independently with limited supervision. Ability to work remotely effectively as required.

  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment with demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities and demands from a variety of stakeholders and sites.

  • Leadership and Mentoring: Effectively lead and facilitate group discussions, coach, mentor, motivate, and engage others to align to a common goal. Ability to effectively lead projects from inception through implementation and assessment.

  • Human Resources Management: Effectively hire, coach and support staff develop, as applicable, as well as manage resources, performance and employee relations, and supervise within established policies, procedures and legislation.

  • Computer Skills:

    • Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required. Advance Excel skills required.

Travel: 51%-75%

Standard Core Workdays/Hours (specify weekends and call requirements): Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Evenings, weekends and call required.
