JOB SUMMARY:
- As a Production Supervisor, you will provide first line leadership in the production areas of the shop. Direct the workforce to achieve the highest overall timeliness and quality of jobs in the production areas assigned. Provide customer service and coordinate job scheduling and the necessary manpower to accomplish these jobs daily. Provide leadership and support for employee skill development, cross-training, continuous improvement, and standardized work. Direct the workforce in a way that always promotes employee safety..
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
- At least 5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, previous experience in the construction industry preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint intermediate skill level in Excel. Previous experience in an ERP system a plus.
- Proficient at reading and generating charts and graphs (pareto, bar, control, flow, fishbone, Cause and Effect, etc.).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Advanced to expert skill level in 6S techniques
- Bachelors degree
- Six Sigma or Lean Certification
- Previous experience in modular home building
- Previous experience with Fieldwire field management software
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
