Director of Nursing - Skilled Nursing Facility for Children

*Salary: up to $135K per year (depedning on experience)*

Requirements of the Nursing Home Director of Nursing:

• Must have AL Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of recent, relevant Director of Nursing experience
• Must have current experience in a skilled nursing facility 
• Must have current supervisory experience
• Must be hands on willing to be on the floor working with their staff
• Must have strong supervision and leadership skills

Responsibilities of the Nursing Home Director of Nursing:

• Provide effective nurse management (hiring, development, training, performance feedback, etc.) that assures utilization of personnel to best meet the needs of the people receiving supports and services.
• Develop and implement health care related training that assures the best possible delivery of health related supports and services.
• Review training at least annually and makes modifications as needed.
