American Medical Associates is Hiring a Director of Nursing Near Mansfield, OH
An elegant long term care facility located in Mansfield, OH is looking for a compassionate and professional Director of Nursing.
Responsibilities of the Director of Nursing:
- Supervises all nursing staff in the facility
- Development and implementation of nursing policy and procedure
- Overseeing the hiring and continued employment of nursing staff
- Ensuring there is adequate nursing staff, and that the staff's skills remain current
- Overseeing nursing employee conduct
- Being knowledgeable of incidents at the facility
- Assessing the health needs of each resident
Requirements of the Director of Nursing:
- Must have current Ohio RN license
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing in a long term care setting
- Must have a strong clinical background & knowledge
- Must have excellent leadership skills
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
