American Leadership Academy Applied Technology is now accepting applications for a First Responder (Law and Public Safety) Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. Candidates must possess a valid AZ IVP fingerprint clearance card.

The First Responder Teacher develops and provides instruction for First Responder Academy educational offerings, and ensures proper program planning, implementation, and evaluation of student progress.

Job expectations include, but are not limited to:

• Daily classroom instruction as aligned to approved lesson plans.
• Ensure that all school and district policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Ensure a sustainable relationship with parents, school personnel, and members of the public.
• Submit grades and attendance according to the procedures of the school.
• Prepare classroom and lab for instruction.

First Responder Program Teacher requirements are:

• Certificate in The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Industrial and Emerging Technologies Occupational Area
• Valid A&P License
• Previous work experience as a first responder instructor preferred
• 3 years working as a first responder
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Patient and understanding

American Leadership Academy Applied Technologies offers a competitive salary that is individually determined based on education and experience. Eligible employees may earn additional pay based on performance.
