Position Summary

The AIChE Marketing team is responsible for the discovery, design, development and delivery of AIChE’s marketing initiatives, working closely with cross-functional groups within AIChE.

As a Marketing Associate, you will be responsible for executing multiple marketing initiatives aimed at promoting our conferences. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, possesses strong skills in proofreading, communicates ideas and actions with clarity, excels in both digital marketing (including email, social media, and retargeting ads) and traditional marketing approaches, and efficiently collaborates with external vendors.

Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the Associate Director of Conferences, your key objectives will include:

• Implementing marketing campaigns and strategies aligned with organizational goals, encompassing:
• Collaborate with marketing leader to execute projects and campaigns to support both virtual and in-person conferences
• Work independently on developing and creating conferece marketing campaigns
• Developing and proofreading marketing content for various communication channels, including emails, print materials, and digital platforms
• Assisting in the development and execution of surveys and other research initiatives
• Managing marketing deliverables and calendars effectively
