American Floor & Home is Hiring a Project Coordinator Near Honolulu, HI

American Floor and Home (formerly known as American Carpet One Floor and Home), a well-established kama’aina company consistently voted as one of the best places to work, invites you to join our team of proud employee-owners as a Project Coordinator to help grow our expanding business by supporting our Construction team with:

  • Coordinating and managing all aspects of assigned projects to ensure timely completion within the available budget,
  • Attend planning and development meetings and other events involving active projects on behalf of the designers and construction manager as needed,
  • Collaborating with other departments and staff to ensure project schedule and budget are within timeline,
  • Coordinating and communicating project progression with presentation, packet preparation, spec sheets, scheduling, client communications and others from beginning to end of the project,
  • Closely communicating with Construction Manager and acts as a liaison with sub-contractors, designers, client advisors, and others on behalf of the company in planning and communicating changing progressions with renovation projects.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills,
  • Access to vehicle, valid driver's license, and acceptable driving record,
  • Detail oriented and well organized,
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint, etc),
  • A positive team player who has the willingness to work with and assist others,
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-pace environment,
  • Accurate and meticulous,
  • Able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs,
  • Willingness and ability to perform all required job duties and additional duties as needed,
  • Associates degree in business or related field of study preferred,
  • Previous construction administrative experience preferred,
  • Able to start at 7:00am,
  • Willing to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

Pay Range: Depending on Experience

This is a Full-time; exempt position.
