Job Summary

The Inside Sales role markets, prospects, and sells American Family Insurance products in all product lines. Maintains effective customer relationships, understands customers' needs, and matches them with appropriate product and service offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Develops knowledge of the local market dynamics for business development opportunities for all product lines
  • Helps the Agency grow by using consultative selling techniques to sell insurance products to new customers
  • Prospects for new business through leads, telephone calls, networking events, trade shows, and personal contacts.
  • Responsible for maintaining existing customers through personal insurance reviews and renewals.

Qualifications

  • Must obtain Property, Casualty & Life insurance license within 60 days of employment.
  • Ability to work independently to plan, set priorities and organize work
  • Demonstrated sales and customer service experience.
  • Comfortable with sales goals and metrics of success.
  • Experience with PC software applications (Microsoft Office Suites, Internet Explorer, etc.)
  • Experience using a wide range of digital devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptop computers
