We are looking for experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. The Procurement Specialist fulfills the core responsibilities noted below and serves as a resource for procurement information to our clients, internal resources, and procurement associated vendors.
Core Responsibilities
  • Release all materials for assigned Project Managers (PM’s) to ensure project schedules are met, creating Purchase Orders in both ERP 2019 and cERP 2019.
  • Manage the weekly follow up with vendors on missing acknowledgements, missing invoices, ship dates and tracking information.
  • Control the weekly follow up with AD Warehouses for open contracts PO’s not yet received.
  • Responsible for the review and process for payment all vendor invoices corresponding to your POs, with the support of the AP Billing Specialist.
  • Work with Project Managers (PMs), Order Writers (OWs) and vendors to ensure any order questions get resolved.
  • Monitor vendor quote(s) to ensure they do not expire prior to ordering material and all material is included on the quote(s).
  • Work directly with in-house resources and third-party vendors and maintain a professional and
  • courteous attitude.
  • Assist with special projects as needed and requested.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of two years of related experience in the fields of procurement, manufacturing, logistics, distribution.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Candidate must have excellent organizational skills and ability to execute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be extremely detail-oriented, proven problem solver, diligent at follow-up and taking notes.
  • Be self- directed with ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities that are made on projects without losing focus on other assigned projects.
  • Construction industry experience, preferably with emphasis in Doors, Frames, Hardware, and Specialties.
  • ERP / cERP systems experience
  • AA Degree preferred
