We are seeking a dedicated and experienced eCommerce Specialist to join our dynamic team and help optimize our digital merchandizing on our direct-to-consumer sites, Amazon, and other marketplaces. To learn more please go to https://www.americancrafts.com/careers/Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced eCommerce Specialist to join our team and report directly to the Director of E-Commerce. The ideal candidate will be passionate about eCommerce, possess a deep understanding of online sales strategies, and have a proven track record of driving revenue growth in the digital space. As an eCommerce Specialist, you will play a key role in managing our online presence, optimizing our eCommerce platforms, and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability.Responsibilities:
  1. Ecommerce Platform Management:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of our eCommerce platforms, including our Direct-to-Consumer website and Amazon.
  • Ensure all product listings are accurate, up-to-date, and optimized for maximum visibility and conversion.
  • Monitor website performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to optimize user experience and drive sales.
  1.  Digital Marketing and Promotion:
  • Have expertise in SEO and digital merchandising to drive traffic and conversion on Shopify and Amazon.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product team to create engaging content, promotions, and merchandising materials tailored to our eCommerce platforms.
  • Ability to implement day to day changes to drive larger strategies and initiatives.
  1. Customer Experience Enhancement:
  • Continuously assess and improve the online customer experience and path to purchase journey.
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, reduce churn, and encourage repeat purchases.
  • Monitor customer feedback and reviews and improve merchandizing to address customer concerns.
  1. Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyze eCommerce performance metrics, such as website traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and customer lifetime value, to track progress and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Utilize software tools such as Jungle Scout, Helium 10, Shopify, ext. to communicate key insights and performance indicators to stakeholders.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine strategies, make informed decisions, and drive continuous improvement in eCommerce operations.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience (2 years) working in eCommerce, preferably at an agency or a high growth eCommerce product company.
  • Deep understanding of eCommerce platforms and best practices in relation to product detail pages, variations, SEO, and imagery.
  • Experience in digital marketing principles and tactics, including SEO, SEM, social Media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing a plus.
  • Proficiency in eCommerce platforms 9e.g., Shopify) and Amazon Seller or Vendor Central.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
