Who We are Looking for : American Crafts is looking to hire an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to assist our Accounts Receivables collections efforts, invoice customers, charge customers payments and other accounting needs.

Manage the accounts receivable email for customer inquiries. Invoice customers through customer portals, EDI, email, and other means.

Charge customer payments through the credit card processor and those on a payment plan. Apply customer payments and credits to customer records, invoices, and accounts.

Be a liaison between the sale team and customer accounts receivable inquiries. Reconcile customer accounts. File and maintain accounting records, including remittances, payments, credits, etc Assist on special accounting projects and / or other duties, as assigned.

Analyze and prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly customer statements, reports, etc Be knowledgeable with SAGE accounting software, customer portals, and other software systems used to complete tasks.

Job Requirements : Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles concepts, standards, and procedures Accurate data entry skills, ability to pay close attention to detail Proficiency in Excel required, including Pivot tables, Vlookup (and other commonly used ormulas) Good interpersonal skills;

excellent written and verbal skills, including communication with customers. Exemplary work ethic, integrity and reliability are a MUST Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks concurrently Demonstrates initiative Accuracy and attention to detail Team player who works productively with wide range of people Problem solving and analytical ability Education / Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration with an emphasis in accounting, or a related field (required) Excellent computer skills What We Offer : Visit https : / / www.
