#TeamAAM is looking for a Senior Human Resources Generalist to support our Driveline team in Three Rivers, Michigan!The Senior Human Resources Generalist provides support to the Driveline Business Unit by staffing, recruiting, associate counseling, administration, and training. They will handle associate relations issues, outplacement counseling, and exit interviews. They will also conduct organizational effectiveness assessments, and recommend programs to address issues. This individual will develop and administer compensation programs; keeping an eye on performance evaluation programs and revising as necessary. They will also make recommendations to senior management on issues concerning associates, recruiting, turnover, and training.

Job Description
- Implements human resources programs by including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, associate relations and retention, compliance, and labor relations; completing personnel transactions.
- Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action.
- Improves manager and associate performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and associates.
- Completes special human resources projects by clarifying project objectives; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions communicating project status and issues; resolving concerns; analyzing time and cost issues; preparing reports.
- Prepares information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Maintains management and associate confidence and protects organization operations by keeping information confidential; cautioning others regarding potential breaches.
- Complies with legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
- Contributes to human resources and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
- Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's Degree with adequate professional experience
- Prior HR experience in a manufacturing environment
- Prior HR experience in a unionized facility (automotive preferred)
