The Sr Data Warehouse Developer will work in the Enterprise Intelligence team and assist with related projects in the company’s Business Intelligence environment. This role requires a Senior Engineer to analyze requirements and then recommend and implement solutions based on those requirements. The Senior Engineer will troubleshoot issues related to the Data Warehouse environment.

The Sr. Data Warehouse Engineer earns competitive compensation from $108,000*

This is a REMOTE position unless residing within 50 miles of Lakewood, CO with the position being Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday onsite. 

Responsibilities

What You Will Do in This Role

• Initiate, lead, and perform in-depth analysis and provide recommendations, repeatable data compilations or dashboards to support complex business problems.
• Generate analytics capabilities and data insights for end users, managers, and leadership
• Interpret complex business requirements, translating them into analytical problems and delivering high value insights and information.
• Interpret data, analyze results, and deliver end-to-end deep data analysis.
• Utilize/deliver standardized tools and reporting which enable speed, efficiency, and scale in the business to accelerate the standardized business operations.
• Ensure that solution exhibits high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, reusability, and reliability on deployment.

Qualifications

What You Need to Join Our Team

Required Experience, Skills & Abilities

• 7 years of database development work experience
• 3 years of Azure Analysis Services and Power BI Desktop / Service
• 3 years experience developing ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
• Advanced knowledge of SSIS and SSAS
• Advanced knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity
• Experience in creating Azure Data Factory pipelines for data ingestion from on-premise servers
• Experience in creating and maintaining Sql Server Agent Jobs
• Knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity
• Proficiency with database design and modeling
• Experience on design and development of Data Warehouse and Data Marts
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Information System, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent suitable experience

Preferred Skills

• 10 years of database development work experience
• Ability to communicate with internal customers at all levels of the organization
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent Excel skills
