Responsibilities: - Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching holes or cracks - Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment - Mix and match colors to achieve desired shades and tones - Follow blueprints or instructions to determine the materials needed for each project - Perform basic math calculations to estimate the amount of paint or other materials required - Assist with general labor tasks such as moving furniture, setting up scaffolding, or cleaning work areas - Use hand tools or power tools to perform tasks such as plastering, welding, or trim carpentry - Restore and repair damaged surfaces or structures as needed Skills: - Proficient in color theory and the ability to mix and match colors effectively - Knowledge of construction estimating techniques to accurately determine material requirements - Basic math skills for calculating measurements and estimating quantities - Maintenance Person skills for performing various tasks related to painting and general labor - Ability to read blueprints or follow instructions to complete projects accurately - Experience with plastering, welding, trim carpentry, or other related skills is a plus If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for painting and construction, we encourage you to apply.
