American Appliance Products is Hiring a Remote Sales Manager

We are looking for someone with a can-do personality and a proven track record of success supporting a high-growth company.

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
  • Building a relationship with the customer to eliminate any misunderstandings and gain a competitive edge.
  • Acquire customer information and keep the plant informed on all pertinent changes and other necessary events.
  • Communicate all necessary plant requirements to the engineering department for customer request follow through.
  • Follow up with engineering to assure all necessary information is completed within the time parameters the customer established.
  • Reviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets.
  • Identifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct.
  • Responsible for all product quotations
  • Responsible for maintaining and administering the product estimating and quotation module in the Interactive System
  • Keeping cost sheets and gross margin log updated on all active parts
  • When plant assistance is necessary, communication and coordination will be completed.
  • Keep the customer informed on all projects and quality problems, changes, or general information that would assist the plant
  • Responsible for administering the New Product Introduction Policy
  • Product phase outs: coordination between the plant and customer to assure a smooth transition and eliminate obsolescence.
  • Working with customer engineering on proposed changes by the plant: tolerances, etc.
  • Working with Engineering on process development for final market costing
  • Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base and extends the company's reach
  • Complete all preliminary costing and competitive comparisons
  • Travel schedule will be scheduled in monthly increments and will vary from month to month

Education:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Management, or related field required

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Sales and Marketing
  • Strong communication and personal time management skills
  • Administration and Management
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience
