AmerCareRoyal is Hiring an Infrastructure Engineer Near Exton, PA

This position has knowledge of network, voice, server, and datacenter technologies. An Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, building, coordinating, and maintaining the IT environment that companies need to run internal operations, collect data, develop, and launch digital products, support internal infrastructure hardware, and achieve other business objectives. The role requires a combination of skills from system administrators, network designers, and database administrators. The infrastructure engineer supervises the hardware, networking, and software layers of the IT environment, ensuring that the entire system meets business needs, easily scales up, adapts to new features, utilizes the latest technologies, tools, and services, and aligns with the company's policy and goals.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Consults with business leaders and IT leadership to align IT portfolio to sustain ACR growth initiatives.
  • Leads design and development activities, and provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
  • Incorporates new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations ensuring that all control gates are met on schedule.
  • Develop procedures and automated solutions to support the customer service operation.
  • Designing, building, and maintaining IT infrastructure using the latest technology.
  • Ensuring all IT systems that support businesses of any size function efficiently and seamlessly.
  • Upgrading and improving operating environments.
  • Creating repair strategies.
  • Providing technical support and training for users.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Formal training in computer hardware, software and networking or a bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training experience in network, server, and datacenter technology.
  • Certifications in Network, Server, or Datacenter certifications such as MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional), MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), A , etc.
  • Basic experience with AS/400 environment would be helpful.
  • Expert knowledge of all aspects of IT Infrastructure including network, voice, server, storage, datacenter, cloud, and cyber security.
  • Proven Project Management experience.

 OTHER COMPENTENCIES

  • Strong communication skills. Adept at oral communication, listening, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Inclination to share knowledge. Continually educate and update the ACR business functions and IT departments
  • Busy Savviness. Ability to speak in business terms translating technical concepts into business terminology.
  • Service Mindset. Excellent customer service skills, real-time communication, simplify complexity in communication.

 TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Active Directory - Users and Computers, Domains and Trusts, Site and Services, DNS, DHCP, Federated Services, Azure AD.
  • Azure – Familiar with Azure Admin centers.
  • Network Administration - Ability to communicate with our SD-WAN vendor, LAN devices, Wireless access points, Network Sys Admin qualifications.
  • Server Administration - Proficient in Windows and Linux distros, Certificates, PKI, Windows KMS.
  • VMware - vCenter and vSphere, Sys Admin experience, DR, Replication.
  • Experience with backup and disaster recovery technologies.

 SKILL LEVEL ASSESMENT

Performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher level staff. Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter. May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group. Requires a bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years' experience.
