Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing behavioral therapy to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Provide one-on-one behavioral therapy sessions with clients
- Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors
- Collaborate with other members of the therapy team to ensure consistent treatment approaches
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for clients

Qualifications:
- Experience working with children, preferably in behavioral health, special education, or related field
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles
- Familiarity with data collection methods and procedures
- Understanding of medical terminology related to developmental disabilities
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
