Join the Amego Team and make a difference! Amego's Fiscal/Finance department is seeking an administrative assistant to support the financial operations of our organization. 

Job Description:

Amego Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Fiscal Department Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial management, exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, and will undertake a collaborative approach to working with colleagues throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Fiscal Department, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and organizing documentation.
  • Assist in managing day-to-day financial operations and transactions within the Fiscal Department.
  • Collaborate with the internal departments to gather financial information and data and maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Assist in auditing financial documents and the processing of invoices, as well as reconciling discrepancies as needed.
  • Support payroll processing activities, including timekeeping verification and payroll.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive personnel and financial information and adhere to regulatory and compliance guidelines.
  • Assist with record keeping for program individuals and the organization’s capital projects.
  • Undertake responsibilities and perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or department heads.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in fiscal management, accounting, or finance role preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and experience with and/or willingness to learn accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the goals and values of Amego, Inc.
  • A bachelor’s degree and prior experience working in a human services agency is a plus.

Salary Range: $45,000-$50,000 based on experience and education.
