AMDA is Hiring a Campus Operations Administrative Coordinator Near Los Angeles, CA

AMDA College of the Performing Arts, with campuses in New York City and Hollywood, is one of the foremost post-secondary performing arts colleges in the country. AMDA offers various pathways for students to receive unparalleled performing arts education taught by world-class industry professionals, including Professional Conservatory Certificates as well as undergraduate and graduate degrees (Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Arts, Associate of Occupational Studies, Master of Fine Arts and Master of Arts).

The Campus Operations Administrative Coordinator will assist with a broad spectrum of administrative duties for the Campus Operations Department. The candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have previous experience in operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Handling logistics for AMDA owned parking lots and vendor lots.

  • Managing parking assignments for Students/Staff/Faculty.

  • Tracking all parking registrations and keeping parking website up-to-date.

  • Sending mass email communications to Students/Staff/Faculty regarding parking.

  • Responding to emails, concerns, and special accommodations connected to parking needs.

  • Keeping parking logs and parking registration forms up-to-date and issuing parking passes.

  • Conducting parking lot audits.

  • Liaising with various departments and vendors to coordinate special event parking and valet services.

  • Issuing new and replacement AMDA IDs for Students/Staff/Faculty.

  • Using CCURE 9000 Security Management Software System for managing AMDA IDs: creating new profiles, managing badge holders’ security clearances and ID holds.

  • Tracking new employee campus entry requirements and clearing ID holds.

  • Liaising with the Alumni Services Department to track and clear Alumni ID requests.

  • Issuing and mailing new and replacement Alumni IDs.

  • Assist with special projects within the Campus Operations department on an as needed basis.

  • Provide administrative support to the Vice President of Campus Operations.

  • Other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

  • 1 – 2 years’ experience in an administrative support role and / or Operations and / or Logistics.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Strong prioritization and organization skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to take initiative and problem solve.

  • Extensive Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Position Information:

  • This position is subject to a background check upon a conditional offer of employment and a reference check.

  • The pay range for this position is $25/hour - $27/hour.

  • This is a fully in person position working on our Los Angeles Hollywood Campus.

  • The regular schedule for this role will be typically be Monday – Friday 9am – 6pm PT; may be required to work an alternate schedule which would include weekend days periodically based on student calendar and department needs.
