Purpose To repair and maintain production equipment throughout the facility in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer’s specifications and to repair and maintain Company buildings and facilities as necessary. II. Duties Operate and perform in a fully functioning team environment. Troubleshoot industrial equipment proficiently. Employing a formalized approach and making effective use of communication skills, schematics, and shop toolsRead, understand, and follow prints and schematics (mechanical manuals, pneumatic, and hydraulic). Demonstrate Electrical and mechanical skills in the following areas; but not limited to: Bearing replacement. Rigging. Properly align couplings, sprockets, pulleys, drive belts, chains, etc. Cut, solder and install copper tubing and perform non-certified arc welding, brazing and oxyacetylene burning. Hydraulics. Parts fabrication. Lubrication. Install and set-up new machinery. Plumbing. Rebuild spare parts. Familiarity with compressed air systems and HVAC systems (Chillers, Heating and Cooling systems) a plus.
