Job Description Job Description Amcor (Formerly Bemis Company) is currently seeking enthusiastic, accountable employees for entry-level NIGHT SHIFT manufacturing positions! ROLE OVERVIEW You will provide support to the Healthcare Packaging Oshkosh Clean Room by operating converting equipment for all pouch/bag orders needed to make Customer Service requirements. You will have various opportunities to cross-train and develop new skill sets for a successful career at Amcor. This position is straight nights from 6:00pm - 6:00am on a 2-2-3 schedule. Enjoy a 3 day weekend every other weekend. Start at $25. night shift premium $1.20 = 26 /hr with OT and premiums, etc. Willay need to be able to train on days for up to 9 months! Follows all GMP, ISO, PPE, and Gowning procedure Checks material against spec and documents results to ensure correct material is staged. Perform set-up of machine per work instructions and procedures with the assistance of a Clean Room Specialist to ensure customer satisfaction. Performs set up’s in a timely manner. Standard run and waste rates must be maintained Loads raw material onto machine Observes machine operation and works with a Machine Assistant to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction. Documents any changes Performs minor machine maintenance, submits requests for maintenance when needed Teach/train Machine Assistants how to set-up, run, document and make adjustments. Troubleshoots machine to ensure product is running within the customer specifications Correctly fills out all paperwork and completes IPPH’s as needed which includes assisting in the recoveries and informing QA when needed to ensure timely products. Assist during set-ups of “other” machines to ensure all machines are set-up and running in a timely manner WHAT WE VALUE: Passion for Safety and following Safety Procedures Passion for Quality and meeting Customer Specifications Must have a positive attitude that promotes the Amcor High Performance Culture Fully aligned with the Amcor Core Values - Safety, Integrity, Collaboration, Accountability, Results and Out Performance Initiative – identifying what needs to be done and doing it before being asked to or required by the situation A team player with good communications skills and the ability to work independently WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU: Willing and able to work 12 hour, night shifts Completion of Operator manual and minimum of 30 days as Machine Assistant Ability to read, understand, and follow customer specifications Basic mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, & understanding of mechanical equipment Basic math, reading, computer, and measurement skills Required to have visual acuity to perform visual inspection including the use of measurement devices Mid-level communication skills – written, verbal and interpersonal Willing to support all areas of the Clean Room as needed/requested Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
