AmCap, Incorporated is a vertically integrated private real estate investment firm founded in 1979 with primary offices in Stamford, Connecticut and Denver, Colorado. The firm focuses on grocery-anchored and necessity retail shopping centers in the Top 100 U.S. MSAs. AmCap's growing nationwide portfolio includes 25 properties totaling approximately 4.8 million square feet, representing nearly $1 billion in assets under management. The firm is actively investing in value-add and core-plus transactions on behalf of its institutional investors.

Position Overview:AmCap is seeking a candidate at the Vice President level to join our Capital Formation team. This role will be responsible for supporting the firm in achieving its capital raising targets, managing client relationships, and developing effective marketing strategies. This position will work closely with the Chief Investment Officer, Managing Director – Investor Relations, and other investment professionals to help develop and execute the firm’s capital raising strategies and deepen existing relationships.

Essential Functions:

• Raise capital through existing relationships with a broad range of investors within the U.S. and globally

• Act as a primary point of contact for existing investors, responding to inquiries and providing regular updates on our investment performance and portfolio companies
• Prepare and distribute investor communications, including quarterly reports, performance updates, and other relevant information
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of RFPs, DDQs, and other investor requests
• Develop and maintain marketing materials, including pitch books and investor presentations
• Support the preparation of quarterly and annual investor reports
• Work closely with the firm’s investment professionals to gain an extensive understanding of the strategy, actual and prospective investments, and the performance of the firm
• Understand, analyze, and assess needs and realistic opportunities to pursue capital while considering the competitive landscape
• Assist in the development and execution of strategic initiatives, identify market opportunities, and conduct research to determine effective positioning
• Assist in the development of marketing materials and implementation of marketing strategies to reach AmCap’s capital raising goals
• Collaborate with the team to plan and execute effective roadshow events

Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in finance or business
• At least 8 years of Investor Relations/Fund Raising experience in the commercial real estate industry, working for an owner/operator, institutional operator, a capital allocator, or a placement agent
• Impeccable interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Strong foundation in real estate investment and financial analysis
• Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and project management skills

Compensation:• Annual Salary Range:$100,000-$150,000
• Annual performance bonus
