Under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Director and Medical Director, the respiratory therapist is responsible for providing basic and advanced Respiratory Care services to infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
The therapist plans, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of Respiratory Care in all patient care departments.Therapy services and testing are performed within the scope of practice of the Cardiopulmonary Department and within the licensure guidelines as defined by the state of Kansas.
