As a Software Development Engineer in Test on this team, you will be leading test automation and infrastructure development, test new and architectural choices which have a significant impact on our systems, our business and most importantly, our customers. You will be working directly with Developers, QA Engineers and Product Managers to ensure quality development and quality of our applications and platforms. We are working with exciting new technologies and solving complex automation problems across platforms. If you are creative, customer focused, have a passion for QA and test automation and enjoy working in a fast paced environment, this team is right for you.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Seattle, WA, USA
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of non-internship professional software development testing experience
- 1 years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C , or C# including object-oriented design
- Experience in building/ implementing tools for internal customers (peer dev, partner teams etc..)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance in a database environment
- Knowledge on Test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright and Cypress

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
