Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities
Developing the Privacy and Security Compliance Controls Framework to ensure global and local compliance.
Identifying strategic solutions to enable product and business compliance.
Create clear guidance for product team to understand applicable privacy and security controls, and to manage compliance.
Advocating for development of new strategic solutions to meet multiple controls at scale
Driving harmonization and scale with centralized Amazon privacy and security control frameworks
Working across stakeholder groups to align both business and technical elements of privacy and security program.
Prioritizing control training in collaboration with internal privacy and security stakeholders.
Managing requests with excellent project management skills.
Generate documentation to support regulatory requirements.
Encourage and support knowledge-sharing within team and external groups.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, Healthcare, Life Sciences or relevant work experience
5 years experience in project/program management in compliance or technical field
Experience with Privacy compliance frameworks such as NIST, HIPAA, HITRUST, GDPR
Experience with security and privacy standards applicable to cloud computing
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience building GRC programs using cloud computing
Experience working in a regulated environment with design controls
Knowledge of Application Security principles and how they impact development and deployment of applications
3 years assessing, documenting, or developing IT architecture or system documentation
Strong familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, HITRUST and other privacy and security regulations and standards
Security or Privacy industry certifications
Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance tools and technology
Enjoy deep diving on technical specifications and adapting requirements to meet control objectives
Experience developing written and visual user guides and training materials to drive stakeholder education on compliance protocols
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $95,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $229,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
