The Seasonal Process Assistant is assigned to the Area Manager, and will hold responsibilities specific to the different Fulfillment Center areas.
• In support of the Area Manager, lead the daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading standup meetings, assigning job duties, and communicating with internal and external suppliers
• Provide short term relief coverage for Area Managers
• Provide policy follow-up communication and aid in attendance tracking (duties do not extend to discipline)
• Assist the floor as an associate resource, training associates and auditing for SOP and Standard Work compliance
• Ensure successful area performance, through tracking, reporting and feedback of associate performance
• Make recommendations for performance or disciplinary action to Area Manager
• Troubleshoot problems through to resolution, escalating to Area Manager or Facilities as needed •Perform production duties as needed
• Fully understand workflow and daily production goals
• Review and recommend updates to SOP as required
• Assist in keeping work area clean and organized
• Support 5S - Identify and address safety hazards within the work area
• Support Floor Safety - Participate and drive safety initiatives and coach associates to work safely at all times
• Refer all job injuries or near misses immediately to Area Manager

- Demonstrated communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels of Amazon associates and management
- Experience with an FC kaizen or Shingi event
- An awareness and willingness to use OE tools and techniques
- Experience working in Problem Solve a plus

- Respect from associates in production area

The base pay for this position ranges from $15/hr in our lowest geographic market up to $21.01/hr in our highest geographic market.
