Amazon is Hiring a Principal Product Manager - Tech, Supply Chain Near Redmond, WA

DESCRIPTION

Amazon’s Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband network connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Key job responsibilities
* Define the global fulfillment network strategy and launch plan to align with Kuiper business goals in each country.
* Lead inventory planning to align the global manufacturing, placement, and fulfillment strategy, operations, and processes across business models.
* Deliver inventory planning forecasts and monthly build requirements to inform purchasing decisions.
* Deliver detailed technical system requirements to leverage existing demand forecasting and supply chain systems to automate workflows.
* Partner with regional business, operations, and finance teams to define regional warehousing and distribution strategies and improve inventory planning forecasts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 10 years in supply chain, product/program management, marketing, business development, or technology, with a track record of leading large-scale projects.
- 10 years combining supply chain, product, and program management, driving strategic initiatives for process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field from an accredited institution.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Proven ability in defining product roadmaps, overseeing end-to-end product delivery, and managing product lifecycles while balancing requirements, user needs, and technical constraints.
- Experience building and managing large scale, successful projects
- Experience in both US and global operations
- Ability to succeed in an entrepreneurial and fast paced culture
- Great analytic and communication skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
