Providence is Hiring a Principal Project Manager, IS Supply Chain Near Redmond, WA

Description

This position will support the IS Supply Chain Management team in collaboration with TEO partners, Clinical Technology Field Services, ServiceNow and Oracle teams to drive project management in the area of IS Supply Chain. This role will focus on large and complex projects involving end-to-end improvements in the entire supply chain workstream involving transactions, touchpoints, and interactions between our IS technology suppliers, procurement, desktop support, stock room managers, and caregivers, as well as the systems used to facilitate the transactions. The projects will include a heavy focus on identification, review, improvement, and automation of workflow to fulfill IT equipment as seamlessly as possible and in the most cost-effective way for Providence. This position will manage all aspects of IS Supply Chain projects reporting directly to IS Supply Chain leadership with frequent interactions with the Providence CTO.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, project management, healthcare admin or clinical field. Or equivalent education/experience.

  • 8 years Project management experience in healthcare, information services, or other relevant industry or operations leading large, diverse and complex projects.

  • Project management experience in healthcare, information services, or other relevant industry or operations expertise and application of Project Management methodology based on project management principles.

  • Project management experience in healthcare, information services, or other relevant industry or operations incorporating process improvement methodologies into large scale projects.

  • Project management experience in healthcare, information services, or other relevant industry or operations facilitating complex decision making among multiple executive stakeholders with different interests and priorities.

  • Demonstrated experience as a speaker in a professional presentation environment, such as conferences and association meetings.

  • Demonstrated experience in business development and/or strategic and tactical planning and execution including marketing, communications and financial planning.

Preferred qualifications:

  • More than 5 years of related experience as a Project Manager with IS supply chain background

  • Demonstrated experience with Project Management methodology based on Agile principles and using Azure DevOps (ADO) solutions

  • Experience facilitating complex decision making among multiple executive stakeholders with different interests and priorities

  • Supply Chain experience in the information technology environment

  • Familiar with ServiceNow and Oracle

  • Experience with supplier/vendor contract management and negotiations
