BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- BA/BS in business, communications, telecommunications, engineering, marketing or related discipline or equivalent experience.
- 7 experience in leadership role.
- Senior Marketing Leader with 10 years of B2G Marketing experience.
- 7 years experience developing and implementing external engagement programs.
- 7 years of leadership skills with a proven ability to influence teams and individuals.
- 6 years of experience in leading multi-stakeholder groups.

DESCRIPTION

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. The mission of Project Kuiper’s Government Solutions (KGS) is to leverage Kuiper and provide high speed, low latency, and secure satellite broadband services to United States and allied government customers.
Key job responsibilities
The Head of Global B2G Marketing will be responsible for engaging Government Solutions (KGS) team’s diverse customers focusing on global Government customer base. Fueling client touchpoints throughout the sales and retention cycle, you will work closely with Project Kuiper B2B marketers and KGS product team members to plan, create, coordinate, and deliver content that showcases Kuiper’s value proposition specific to our Government customer base.
This leader will be instrumental in collaborating with Business Development to develop marketing qualified leads (MQLs) and convert them into orders/contracts. You will be perceptive to business needs and competitive insights as you work collaboratively with a variety of teams (Product Team, Go-To-Market, Business Development, other Marketing Teams, etc.) across the global organization. You will be responsible for Creation, Shaping and Execution of performance and brand marketing campaigns to engage our global government customer audiences. You’ll define innovative, break-through marketing across all channels – paid media, brand activations, lifecycle marketing, and partnerships – and in doing so, you’ll have the opportunity to invent the future of B2G marketing at Project Kuiper.
The ideal candidate for this role has a unique ability to take a diverse, complex range of business inputs and verticals, and translate them into a clear vision and marketing strategy.
- Define the holistic B2G marketing strategy for KGS, articulating target market, customer insights, brand positioning, and end-to-end roadmap to drive revenue growth
- Lead and manage the execution of integrated cross-channel marketing strategy to deliver growth and engagement for Kuiper business verticals
- Take ownership of B2G marketing related to tradeshows, symposia execution, booth development/management
- Develop and manage the KGS brand with our government customers
- Build integrated marketing strategy, ensuring all stakeholders are aware of plans, how we’ll execute and how activities will help drive the sales forecast
- Lead content strategy, partnering with creative and design teams to bring breakthrough creative and storytelling to market across our owned, earned and paid channels
- Manage analytics framework to drive marketing efficiency, ensuring leadership has a clear understanding of marketing ROI and incremental value
- Partner with product marketing team to develop messaging, value prop and competitive differentiation for all marketing campaigns
- Define goals for customer awareness, acquisition, and trial
- Plan, execute and measure strategic campaigns focused on engagement and lead generation, targeting specific products and services to specific categories of client
- Oversee KGS’s B2G media strategy
- Leverage CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.com and the Marketing Cloud, to capture information relative to B2G customers
- Creating and drive customer call decks and other outward facing content to drive B2G customer engagement.
- Develop a feedback loop with sales teams to refine focus and elevate the quality of the MQLs
- Seek out and partner with third-party platforms to allow Project Kuiper to reach prospective customers in new and innovative ways
- Own and coordinate the conference calendar. Identify opportunities for representation at key conferences and events and build support materials for B2G event programs we host
- Manage and mentor a future team of B2G marketers
- Role is global in nature – will work with teams that support a global presence. Build strong internal relationships and campaigns across Amazon.

Security Clearance : Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance of TS/SCI, so you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.
This position is in Arlington, VA. Some travel, primarily domestic, will be required.

- A Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree preferred
- Ability to conceptualize, scope, and execute projects to strict deadlines
- Experience developing high-profile campaigns across a diverse range of channels, and within a rapidly evolving business environment – you have implemented game changing ideas that have changed the course of businesses and brands
- Experience driving new business segment or services launches
- Both technically deep and business savvy enough to interface with all levels and disciplines within the organization
