Amazon is Hiring a Comms Program Manager, AWS Private Pricing Program Near WA, WA

DESCRIPTION

Are you a strong and organized owner with a track record of operationalizing large, complex workstreams to a successful finish? Do you have excellent verbal/written communication skills that enable you to convey and influence effectively? Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Comms Program Manager to join the Private Pricing Programs and Experiences (3PX) team.
In this role, you will partner with a team of strategists, subject matter experts, and producers to lead the program management of content and training initiatives for AWS Private Pricing. Your work will span always-on initiatives (e.g., creation and launch of internal/external newsletters), program launches and process/mental model updates, and other special projects. The workstreams you lead will output work to benefit both internal audiences (e.g., AWS field) as well as those external to AWS (e.g., AWS partners and customers). Additionally, you will lead workstreams to drive inspection and reporting of the team’s work to ensure optimal impact. Through this work, you will play an instrumental role in building the Private Pricing Program brand, driving awareness and adoption, and increasing deal count and velocity.
The ideal candidate is a self-driven and exceptionally organized operator who can build robust workback plans and roadmaps, mitigate the unexpected gracefully and effectively, and lead horizontally to drive action through others. You have a track record of delivering projects that are on time and of quality. You drive a wonderfully high bar through your meticulous planning as well as through the efficient processes and mechanisms you build. You can partner effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and drive action. You are focused and can deliver on time and at a high bar in a fast-paced environment. You are an exceptional communicator who can write concisely and with polish, and lead meetings with leaders and stakeholders. You measure success by impact (vs. size of effort), and continuously inspect both approach and output to incrementally raise the bar over time.
Inclusive Culture. Here at AWS, we embrace our differences. We are committed to furthering our culture of inclusion. We have ten employee-led affinity groups, reaching 40,000 employees in over 190 chapters globally. We have innovative benefit offerings, and we host annual and ongoing learning experiences, including our Conversations on Race and Ethnicity (CORE) and AmazeCon (gender diversity) conferences. Amazon’s culture of inclusion is reinforced within our 14 Leadership Principles, which remind team members to seek diverse perspectives, learn and be curious, and earn trust.
Work/Life Harmony. Our team also puts a high value on work-life balance. Striking a healthy balance between your personal and professional life is crucial to your happiness and success here, which is why we aren’t focused on how many hours you spend at work or online. Instead, we’re happy to offer a flexible schedule so you can have a more productive and well-balanced life—both in and outside of work.
Mentorship and Career Growth. Our team is dedicated to supporting new members. We have a broad mix of experience levels and tenures, and we’re building an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing and mentorship. We care about your career growth and strive to assign projects based on what will help each team member develop into a better-rounded professional and enable them to take on more complex tasks in the future.
