• 10 years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• Experience developing technology solutions and evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level, including training, workshops, publications

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a talented Partner Solutions Architect (PSA) to evangelize the AWS Partner Network of consulting and technology partners globally through the creation of highly visible communications and technical content. In this role, you will work closely with our communications team to craft and deliver compelling technical messaging for our partner community and internal stakeholders. Your passion for educating and enabling partners will drive the development of presentations, white papers, blog posts, reference architectures, and other content that showcases the art of the possible with AWS and partner technologies.
You'll have the opportunity to represent the voice of partners, sharing their needs and feedback to shape the future roadmap of AWS services and programs. Through activities like architecture reviews, white-boarding sessions, demos, workshops, webinars and conference presentations, you'll scale your impact and enable our partner community to build thriving cloud practices.
The ideal candidate will have a background in cloud architecture, software development, or infrastructure and 10 years of experience in a solutions architecture or technical evangelism role. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must, as well as a knack for distilling complex technical concepts into clear, compelling stories. AWS or other cloud certifications are a plus. Some travel may be required for customer meetings, partner conferences and events.

Key job responsibilities

• Collaborate with communications team to develop technical content (e.g. presentations, white papers, blog posts, reference architectures, demos) that educate and inspire partners
• Build mind share and drive adoption of AWS services through workshops, webinars, conference presentations, and other evangelism activities
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to partner executives, understanding their needs and sharing insights to inform our partner programs and AWS roadmap
• Enable partner solutions architects and sales teams through trainings, office hours, and mentoring
• Analyze partner and market trends to develop new solutions and content ideas

• Knowledge of distributed systems design and implementation or equivalent
• Knowledge of large scale automation and workflow management or equivalent
• Knowledge of database design and implementation or equivalent
• Knowledge of presentations and whiteboarding skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT management, and developers
• Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $146,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $284,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
