Amazon.com is Hiring a Program Manager, Visual Innovation Near New York, NY

  • 3 years of program or project management experience
  • 3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Visual content like photography, video, 3D or graphic design is critical for Customers to understand and evaluate products in their online shopping journey. Our team is continually innovating and setting new industry standards for showcasing tens of millions of products across multiple countries.
These visuals are essential for Customers to connect to the products they see in their shopping journey. Driving a consistent visual experience across all Amazon products, requires innovative technical solutions. We must also optimize our physical product processes and enable our Selling Partners to manage their content portfolios with ease.
The Amazon Visual Innovation Team is looking for a program manager to establish an efficient process for resolving escalations related to content changes on the site and to improve the quality of the automated decisions our tech makes when prioritizing images.
A successful candidate will have a track record of delivering difficult projects that challenge how things have always been done. They are a great communicator with experience distilling large problems into streamlined root causes that can be addressed with innovative solutions.
They are not afraid to challenge the status quo and are passionate about Customers. The role requires an ability to dive deep into customer issues, and work cross functionally to inform business strategy and processes. This person will employ high judgement, influence internal and external stakeholders, and deliver results under ambitious timelines.
Key job responsibilities
  • Interfacing with Seller and Vendor managers, and other Amazon teams to understand and resolve issues
  • Collaborating with business, tech, product, and operational resources to define root causes and implement process improvements to scale solutions
  • Establishing the right mechanisms to improve the operational SOPs that feed our technology decisions
  • Problem-solving, strategic to real-time, requiring extensive use of data collection and analysis, and preparing and executing regular program updates to senior management.

New York, NY, USA
  • 3 years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 3 years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
