Overview:

Amazing Athletes of DFW Metro are seeking enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Summer Camp Coaches. This is a great Summer job that pays well and that provides available Summer Time for yourself - almost all of our programs are in the morning ending by 12pm!

As a Summer Camp Coach, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children while creating memorable experiences in a fun and safe camp environment. Its Summer Time right?

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with "campers" during daily camp activities and events
- Lead age-appropriate games, crafts, and recreational activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for campers to learn, grow, and have fun!

Requirements:
- Experience or knowledge in classroom management, sports coaching, childhood development, daycare, special education, tutoring, babysitting, theater, or Christian counseling is preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old

- Must be available Monday thru Friday beginning June 1 through August 2nd, 2024

- Ability to manage groups of 15 or more in short 30-60 minute summer camp events

- Ability to think and act quickly based on space and weather conditions. The show must go on!

- Must be punctual

- Must have reliable daily transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications (CPR/First Aid)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic about working with children
- Ability to work well independently or within a Team effort
