We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate/Cashier to join our team at Alyssa Monroe Boutique. As a key member of our retail staff, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining the overall store environment. Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing inquiries about products and services.
• Efficiently process customer transactions, including cash, credit, and debit payments, while maintaining accuracy and adherence to company policies.
• Maintain a tidy and organized checkout area, ensuring merchandise displays are well-stocked and appealing to customers.
• Collaborate with team members to replenish shelves, arrange displays, and ensure products are adequately showcased.
• Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies to management.
• Participate in store opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation, ensuring the store's security protocols are followed.
• Stay updated on product knowledge to provide accurate information and recommendations to customers.
• Actively contribute to achieving sales targets and goals by upselling and cross-selling products.
• Uphold a high standard of customer service, resolving issues and handling customer complaints with professionalism and empathy.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including maintaining confidentiality of customer and company information.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Proficient in using cash registers and point-of-sale systems.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail for accurate transaction processing.
• Flexibility in work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift items as required.

While not typically a primary requirement for a Retail Sales Associate/Cashier position, having some social media knowledge can be beneficial and is needed in this position.
