Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant Bilingual to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will provide essential support to healthcare professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facility. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with patient care, performing vital signs, providing medical administrative support, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Responsibilities:
- Perform vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration
- Assist healthcare professionals with various medical procedures and examinations
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns
- Administer basic life support when necessary
- Assist with medical administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and billing
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care delivery
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Requirements:

-Bilingual Spanish/English
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and basic clinical procedures
- Proficiency in performing vital signs accurately
- Basic life support certification is required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical administrative processes including appointment scheduling and medical record management

Preferred Skills:
- Experience in hospital medicine or internal medicine
- X-Ray certification or experience
-EHR experience
