TempExperts is hiring a Medical Scheduler for a thriving healthcare company in Pinellas Park, FL .

Job Summary :

The Medical Scheduler will handle a variety of scheduling and administrative duties to manage appointments and schedules.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties :

• Foster and maintain a professional relationship while building a strong rapport with patients, clients, and staff.
• Assist patients and clients to ensure all needed documentation associated with scheduled appointments ensuring appointments are properly scheduled in a timely manner.
• Process appointment assignments through company navigation ensuring data in participants’ electronic medical record is entered correctly.
• Provide all required documentation to the specialist for each appointment.
• Communicate up-to-date scheduling information as necessary to promote continuity of care.
• Support Assistants when necessary.
• Maintains excellence in customer service by being compassionate, empathetic, and responsive to the needs of internal and external community.
• Always maintains patient and family confidentiality. Minimum Qualifications Required :
• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent verbal and written and communication skills.
• Excellent typing and computer skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of HIPPA compliance regulations.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
