Alvarez-Glasman & Colvin (“AGC”) is a public agency law firm that has been serving public agency clients for over thirty-five years. AGC is seeking an associate attorney specializing in special education for school districts. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years’ experience as a practicing attorney with a background in special education law. Candidates must have experience drafting responses to due process complaints, attending IEP meetings, representing clients at resolution sessions and mediations, attending settlement negotiations between parents and client, preparing for hearings, representing clients at due process hearings, and drafting closing briefs. The position requires frequent interaction with clients and opposing counsel. All candidates must possess strong research, writing, communication and analytical skills, and pay close attention to detail.
