Alutiiq is Hiring a Site Manager Near Hampton, VA

The Site Manager will have responsibility and authority for the successful performance of all aspects of a government security contract. The Site Manager will supervise and manage a large government facility located in Hampton, Virginia. The Site Manager will be responsible for managing and leading a team providing Security Services, Protective Services, Emergency Management, Access Control, Locksmith Services, Training, and Visitor Control. They will manage the assigned operation on a day-to-day basis and will work cooperatively with all stakeholders including government contracting personnel, corporate personnel and management executives.

This opportunity is for a POTENTIAL CONTRACT award and is contingent upon the contract being awarded. Consideration for a potential contract may require a signed letter of intent. If the contract is awarded, another position posting will be available on the Company Careers portal.

Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Responsible for the overall management, performance, and completion of all performance work statement requirements
  • Manages all operations consisting of Security and Law Enforcement professionals, ensuring all work requirements, training requirements, and clearance levels are met
  • Provides continuous assessment and evaluation of contract performance and initiates appropriate corrective action as needed to ensure compliance.
  • Ensures responsive customer-focused services through direct communication and coordination with the Government and other contractors.
  • Prepare, review, distribute, and maintain General Orders, Post Orders, and emergency and special orders for each security post and position
  • Manage force of armed Security Police Officers to safeguard personnel and material resources located on client property
  • Completely understand the operational requirements of the contract to include the requirements of Emergency Management, Protective Services, Emergency Response and Training.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Required to have and maintain an active Secret security clearance
  • (5) years minimum experience in supervising and managing a major security contract.
  • 10 years of experience managing 50 armed security personnel or law enforcement officers
  • Completely understand the operational requirements of the contract to include the requirements of Emergency Management, Protective Services, and Training
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university or college in Criminal Justice, Business Management/Administration, Industrial Security or related field
  • Candidate must be certified as an Emergency Response Official (ERO)
  • Possess good communication skills with ability to clearly articulate complex concepts
  • Knowledgeable in the following disciplines: Protective Services, Information/Industrial, Personnel, Communications, and Physical Security; basic Law Enforcement/Security Operations, and Security Training;
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive medical examination, psychological and drug screening;
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen;
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
