Position Overview:

The Maintenance Trades Helper will be responsible for supporting the team in performing general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge (but not proficiency) in such trades as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical work, and supporting other operations and maintenance services as required.

Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

• Assists one or more workers in the skilled maintenance trades by performing specific or general duties of lesser skill such as: keeping a worker supplied with materials and tools, cleaning working area, machine and equipment; assisting journeyman by holding materials or tools; and performing other unskilled tasks as directed by journeyman. Work includes: supplying, lifting, and holding materials and tools, cleaning working areas, and performing specialized machine operations.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma.
• Minimum Experience: 1 years of related experience
