🍋 This is how you’ll change the way people eat foreverWe are looking for a Junior Data Engineer for our ambitious, fast growing team in Amsterdam. Working in the Data Engineering team you take a leading role in developing and optimising our data processes. As a Junior Data Engineer you will join a Scrum team within the Data Engineering team to contribute to our tooling landscape and facilitate future growth and cost optimisation.

The bulk of these tools are critical to our day to day operations, within our supply chain and route planning landscape in particular. A highlight of the projects our tools contributed to over the past year:

• Launching multiple new brands
• Introduce our HelloFresh Market and expand to 300 items
• Increase our menu size from 25 to 50 unique recipes per week
• Launching our French market
• Rebuilding of our Ordering process
• Optimisation of our Distribution Centre planning
• Significantly improving our technical and structural setup
• Collaborate with our global tech teams, introducing querying engine, storage solutions and orchestration

• Develop new workflow tools to help service our customers now and in the future
• Provide reliable and scalable tech solutions to the business by using the latest technologies
• Build key featuresin our supply chain tech products and collaborate with stakeholders to get their inputs
• Learn about the latest technologies and standards that we use in our team

🍉 These are the ingredients you’ll bring to the team

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field
• 0-2 years of experience in any technical role
• Experience with Python (you are able to extract, transform and load data, for example using Pandas) and familiarity with its style guide
• Some experience with SQL (you are able to load a table from a data warehouse)
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, preferably Scrum
• Able to translate business questions into data solutions
• Fluent in English
• Knowledge of AWS and Airflow is a plus
