JOB POSITION: Junior System Administrator

JOB SUMMARY:

Member of the IT Operations Team with responsibilities covering a wide range of technologies including, but not limited to, systems administration, helpdesk, telephony administration, CRM administration, laptop/desktop computer build-up/replacement among other items.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• 1st level of support for inbound email and phone based technical support for on-site employees
• Setup and configure laptop and desktop computers (Software installs, patches, etc.)
• Request email logins from corporate IT during onboarding in coordination with HR
• Developing and updating on-line support documentation
• Perform systems administration functions for Windows 365 infrastructure, Exchange, software updates, anti-virus, backups and CRM systems
• Avaya phone system administration - Setup/deploy phones to on-site personnel
• Other duties as required

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with preference given to those who have completed course or have working knowledge in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• 2 years working in a IT helpdesk/systems administration role

JOB REQUIRMENTS:

• Ability to work to a strict deadline
• Experience with SQL preferred but not required
• A strong desire to learn and grow
• Knowledge of databases and operating systems
• Good working knowledge of email systems and Microsoft Office software
• Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
• Experience with SQL preferred but not required
• Physical ability to lift/move/haul computers/monitors/servers/etc.

COMPENSATION:

Based on experience

SHIFT:

Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Friday: 4 hour shift, hours may vary
